Elena Ruano studies traditional techniques in Spain and digital photography in New York. She has received grants from the Spanish Ministry of culture, Miro Foundation and MIDE and Fellowships from the Seville Government. Her images are in the permanent collections of the National Library, MIDE, Ayto, Madrid, Museo de Medellin and private collections (Maphre, Iberdrola, Anabas F.A. LTD) of Spain and Europe. She is represented in Spain by the Carmen de la Guerra Gallery.
